Graduation Project: Who’s Boss
After five months of a lot effort, dedication, and energy , I am pleased to announce my graduation from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute for Fashion & Design with an impressive 9.5 out of 10 for my final collection titled "Who's Boss".
Every aspect, from the garments, avatars, textures, to the environment, has been meticulously crafted by me. Throughout the semester, I had a rapid enhancement of my 3D skills, this was all because of the great guidance provided by my instructors.
This collection serves as a reflection of my identity as a social designer, seamlessly combining my passion for formal wear aesthetics with the creative inspiration I draw from the world of BDSM.
I encourage you to explore my collection below and gain insight into its underlying ethos.
The Concept
This collection brings to life my imaginative concept of a fetish office within the metaverse, seamlessly blending formal attire with elements of BDSM. It's a realm where submissives confidently wear "Who’s Boss" attire, granting everyone the freedom to take control, express themselves the way they want, go beyond their comfort zones, and find security in this virtual domain.
My digital fetish fashion collection is a fusion of my profound enthusiasm for suits and an embodiment of my personal identity.
Drawing inspiration from BDSM, I used it as a symbolic representation of the emotions I endured during the pandemic. The inability to freely express and live my life left me feeling powerless, and it was from this sense of powerlessness that "Who’s Boss" was born.

The Making
During this project, I became skilled in learning different computer programs. I started learning how to make patterns right from the beginning of my studies, this became a lot more fun when using CLO3D.
However, in order to craft my digital domain, I had to dive deeper into the realm of 3D design, exploring tools like Blender and Substance Painter. This exploration allowed me to exercise my creativity by experimenting with fresh shapes and silhouettes, effectively reimagining the traditional suit.
Process Book
For this project, I had to create a book that documented my progress. This book helped me see my concept more clearly and identify any challenges or ideas I still needed to explore.
See below some pages from this digital book.
